I have virtually no followers, if anyone actually reads this, only do it if you think my “blog” is any good. This isn’t for your pity.

 My family (mainly my dad’s side), is very old-fashioned, conservative, and intolerant. I’m not even allowed to post so much as a gay rights note on my Facebook because my family will make me delete it. They scold me for choosing not to go to church and for having atheist, gay, and even black friends. I cannot take their ignorance sometimes. I’m almost sixteen and I feel like I have the right to my own beliefs. I dare not let them know that I am agnostic and a Liberal in fear that they won’t accept me.

Disney Channel’s little “Motivational Moments” as I would call it, creeps me the hell out. I know they are trying to tell you to dream big and what not, but sometimes I feel like they know all too well that they have the power to brainwash young children whenever they please.
